Software Updates and Enhancements

SouthWare releases a new revision of SouthWare each year.  Under their Annual Maintenance Agreement, you are insured to remain current and protect your investment in SouthWare.

Major Revision Releases

SouthWare releases a new revision annually.  A revision release is defined as a major upgrade by SouthWare and includes substantial feature and function additions and/or enhancements and sometimes new modules.  A revision release is signified by an increment in the revision number.  SouthWare currently  is on revision 12 which was released on May 26, 2006.  All releases are provided with automated update processes and file conversions, which make them fairly routine to implement. Older versions of SouthWare® receive continued support for a short period of time to allow each customer time to transition to the new release.

Minor Updates

Minor bug fixes and minor software improvements are made on a weekly basis. These are then collected and released monthly. The monthly updates are available for download from our client online support site. Most reported software problems are fixed in a matter of days, sometimes even hours. Once these corrections are thoroughly tested and approved, they are released and can be downloaded from our support site.

Maintain your investment in SouthWare® with the purchase of our SouthWare® Annual Maintenance Agreement and receive the periodic updates released by SouthWare®. (Support Services are not included)

Documentation Updates

Documentation updates are made annually and coincide with the new revision releases. Documentation is available electronically or via printed manuals.
